Brief Explanation

Why Do Two-Stage Compressors Have Lower Electric Bills?

Two-stage compressors, such as this Samsung Mini Split unit, run at full capacity when you need them to and at a lower level when you don't.

These systems cycle on and off less frequently than a single stage unit, yet not as continuously as a variable speed.

Most of the electricity from your air conditioner is actually drawn from when your unit turns on, not from while it's running.

As you can see, if your air conditioner is constantly turning on and off all day long, then this can easily hike up your monthly electric bill.

Small, more compact systems such as the one which we installed for this client are not only smaller and easier to manage but will save you from expending lots more time, hassle, and money.

F.A.Q

1. In What Ways Do Single Stage and Two-Stage Units Vary?

Answer:

Most central air conditioning units operate with a single stage compressor.

This means that when the outdoor temperature exceeds the temperature setting on your thermostat, the compressor will operate at 100% of its capable capacity.

Once the desired thermostat temperature is reached, the unit will then turn off. Single stage compressors turn on and off continuously throughout the day.

Variable speed air conditioners, such as the two-stage one which we installed, often operate comfortably at levels as low as 30% or even 25% capacity.

They run for longer cycles than a single stage unit tends to, and it's readily possible for them to run for all or most of the day if needed.

2. How Are Our Installations Some Of The Best Around?

Answer:

Additionally, we're:

1 - CO & Combustion Analysis Certified

3. Are There Any Installation Financing Options Available?

Answer:

We do indeed have options available, and the most specific one which we offer at the moment is actually called P.A.C.E. financing.

P.A.C.E. is an acronym which stands for Property Assessed Clean Energy.

This is a form of financing that was introduced not too long ago specifically for installing energy efficient HVAC units.

This special offer is available to Commercial, Residential, and even Industrial property owner.

4. Do We Offer Combustion Analysis Services?

Answer:

As a matter of fact, we do indeed.

If you're overdue for an analysis and would like for us to do one for you in addition to any installation, we'd be more than happy to work that out for you.

Not exactly sure what a combustion analysis is or why they're performed?

Don't worry, that's actually fairly common. A combustion analysis is used to :

* Help improve the fuel efficiency of a heating unit.

* Test and ensure the safety of the equipment.

* Conform to the proper manufacturer guidelines if anything's out of place.

* And when applicable, determine the exact amount of undesired emissions being produced, such as carbon monoxide.

Carbon monoxide is poisonous gas that's odorless, extremely flammable, and if inhaled excessively, can cause flu-like symptoms and potentially even deadly consequences in some cases.

5. What's All Entailed With Our Installation Process?

Answer:

After the initial installation of your new unit is complete, we then go the whole 9 yards to make sure the new system is up and running accordingly.

We'll take a few measurements of the airflow and adjust the system accordingly so that it performs the way it's intended to.

After this, we'll then charge the system with refrigerant if needed to ensure that everything else is performing perfectly.

(Very few HVAC businesses do these additional steps. Roughly 1 out of every 100 businesses or so.)

6. When Can We Install Your New Mini Split Unit?

Answer:

We seek to receive your calls, come out to your location and complete all of your specific installation needs within 24-48 Hours.

We're always striving to provide Same-Day Service as well

Installations can sometimes be tricky though, especially when it comes to new commercial systems and units which are being installed.

And that's why you should always choose experience over price (even though ours are already competitive anyway).

We have DECADES of Experience of providing quality HVAC installations of all shapes and sizes.

We've helped 1,000’s of customers over the years with all their HVAC needs, and we're confident that our industry-leading installations with help put your mind at ease.
